Haven't been there as a parent but on the other side doing the assessing and talking to the parents. I wish you well as Ty comes up on his 3rd b-day which means preschool age!!!!!DannieAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13085318956074927357noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4382955114513203057.post-87761904456524209062010-11-13T20:25:44.353-05:002010-11-13T20:25:44.353-05:00Spencer is being evaluated for the special needs p...Spencer is being evaluated for the special needs preschool as well. Both of his EI therapists assure me he is a shoe-in. It is the same preschool that Cameron goes to. Spencer is so far behind where Cameron was at this age, so unless we have a miracle between now and March, he will go in March. I also wonder what I will do without therapy. We started when Cameron was 6 months old. So, we will have 4 years of solid therapy by the time Spencer ages out. Right now, we only have 2 times a week. (At one point, we had 6 therapies every week!)

I, like you, get so annoyed when people tell me how lucky the boys are to have me and how much I do for them. So, a non-adoptive parent would just ignore a life threatening heart condition? Or would assume a vocabulary of only 10 words at 2 1/2 was normal? I am just a mom. And I am the lucky one.Marcihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11033509808011938754noreply@blogger.com
